Volunteers needed for Street Team calendar/flyer distribution!
We’re looking for folks to be part of our street team, spreading the word about
our new “Think Globally, Dance Locally” initiative as well as our overall programming.
Through “Think Globally, Dance Locally,” we are building on our four-decade history
by highlighting events that will bring more voices, more conversations, and more
joy to more people, in the Ashkenaz tradition of fostering intercultural peace
We’re especially seeking volunteers to distribute “Think Globally, Dance Locally”
flyers and Ashkenaz calendars on/near the UC Berkeley campus. Availability for other
locations is welcome as well, as is volunteering to do promotion online. Free tickets
provided in exchange!

Join the Ashkenaz Board of Directors!
Ashkenaz Music & Dance Community Center is at an exciting new juncture of its history
and is seeking talented and dedicated Board members to foster the organization into our
next chapter of new and exciting cultural programming.
We’ve weathered the recession, raised funds for building renovations that are underway,
and are now able to return our focus to reinvigorating Ashkenaz’s multicultural music and
dance programming. We are currently fundraising for the resources to find and present master artists from around the world, foster cross-cultural collaborations, and reach new audiences.
We are in need of skilled and dedicated Directors in the areas of finance and fundraising.
Please contact Executive Director Brandi Brandes [mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org]
for more information.
