Deadline or Lifeline?

Dear friend-

We’ve got 18 days left to raise $17,000 to get Mumia Abu-Jamal Hepatitis C treatment. And we know we can do it with your help. (

We’re up against something huge– something beyond Gilead, the company charging $1,000 per Hepatitis C treatment pill. Something even larger than the Prison administration, who are denying Mumia any and all care.

We’re up against a system that considers prisoners to be unworthy of health, medical dignity and the right to live through an illness.

That’s why we’re not backing down- because health care is a human right!

We’re standing up, because without our fight, Mumia won’t receive treatment.

We’re standing up, because Mumia is not alone. Thousands of prisoners have Hepatitis C in Pennsylvania, and winning this case for Mumia means a pathway to treatment for all prisoners
with Hepatitis C.

We’re standing up, because we have you to stand with.

The reality is that we can’t win this alone. Funding Mumia’s legal and medical work is far out
of budget for our small but steadfast organization. With 18 days left to reach our goal of $42,000, we know we can do this- together.

( join us in getting Mumia life-saving treatment by giving $25, $250
or $100 t ( Today (
